By accessing or using MakeQRs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

1. Liability Disclaimer

MakeQRs provides QR code generation tools “as is”. While we strive for reliability, we are not responsible for QR codes that do not function as expected in specific use cases or environments.

Specific Limitation regarding Physical Products and Printing:

We are explicitly not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages associated with printing QR codes on physical products, packaging, marketing materials, or any other medium. It is the user’s sole responsibility to test and verify the functionality of any QR code before mass printing or distribution.

We will not provide reimbursement for printing costs, product costs, or any other associated expenses if a QR code generated by our service does not scan correctly or stops working.

2. Refund Policy

We generally do not offer refunds for our services. All purchases are final.

Exceptions: Refunds may be considered only in cases where a billing error has occurred due to a mistake on our part. If you believe such an error has occurred, please contact our support team with details of the transaction.

3. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our services and the redirection for dynamic QR codes. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for any downtime or interruptions in service.

4. Analytics and Data Usage

Our service provides analytics features for tracking QR code scans. We collect and process the following data to provide these insights:

  • Device Information: We collect data about the device used to scan the code, including device type (mobile, desktop, tablet), operating system, browser type, and version.
  • Location Data: We collect location data including City, Region, Country, and approximate latitude and longitude coordinates. This data is currently derived solely from IP addresses to provide analytics on where scans are originating from. We do not access precise GPS data from your device sensors without your explicit permission.
  • IP Address: We process IP addresses to derive approximate location data and for security purposes (such as abuse prevention).
  • Time of Scan: The local timestamp of when the interaction occurred.

We do not collect personally identifiable information (such as name, email, or phone number) from end-users scanning the QR codes, unless they voluntarily provide it through a specific form or interaction on the destination page (which is outside our control).

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
